We support thousands of children across East Yorkshire and Northern Lincolnshire, that have special needs, are disabled, have life limiting illnesses, have been abused or neglected or simply need a little extra care and guidance, through our grant giving process.
Every single penny we raise stays right here in East Yorkshire and Northern Lincolnshire and provides a helping hand when and where it is needed the most; so you can be sure that your money is changing the lives of children on your doorstep.
OUR OBJECTIVE IS TO HELP LOCAL CHILDREN LIVE A BETTER LIFE!
Grants are reviewed by our Local Ambassador Board twice a year although if your application is urgent we will review these as a matter of urgency - decisions are made on a case by case basis. We work very closely with support services which often means that social services and occupational therapists put applicants in touch with us.
We support both individuals and other children’s charities/groups – grants must directly benefit the children but often has a life enhancing effect on the whole family. Each applicant is treated equally and grants are only paid to, or through a charity, or the commodity is bought direct, all charities are checked via the Charity Commission.
