Hi I’m Richard, and I’m here with you every weeknight from 6pm.

Firstly we have an hour of classic 60s songs with Sixties at Six, followed by an hour of great 70s songs with Seventies at Seven.

Then from 8pm it's Mellow Magic. Two hours of the greatest music to help you de-stress and forget about your worries. Including chances for you to win Magic Prizes with Daft, dumb and difficult, our General Knowledge quiz.

I'm a fairly laid back kind of fella, so perfectly qualified to host MELLOW MAGIC. My favourite things include: Stimulating conversation with friends, Laughing my Ar*e off, Scoffing red hot curries, quaffing real ale and watching who-dunnits.

Away from Radio I like to try my hand at writing fiction. Unfortunately I'm not the speediest writer, and at the current rate I hope to have finished my first novel by 2010. Another ambition I hold is to one day do some TV work, ideally as an actor. Maybe I could pop up on "Hotton FM" in Emmerdale.

Richard can also be heard at other times of the day on Magic when he sits in for presenters during their holidays or whatever other excuse they have for not being on air.
